About Me

Allycyn

When I was little, I somehow managed to lock myself in my mother's car thanks to extra-thief-proof locks. I sat there, panicking and crying, convinced that I would have to spend my entire life with the smell of leather interior. It seems a pattern in my life that I keep locking myself into small, confined spaces... metaphorically, at least.

I am an American female sadly approaching her adult years with reluctance and foreboding. I attend a university in DC where I spend my time studying languages and phonemes and semantics because Professor Higgins is my hero; I strive to be bitter and self-righteous just like him. I don't know what facts about me are considered pertinent enough to interest anyone, but I doubt my often rambling entries and odd thoughts aptly delineate my rather shiftless existence. More often than not I tell strange anecdotes that seem to hint at some kind of metaphor for my life in general that is in no way clear to anyone, least of all to myself. And I am still attached to livejournal and find that I prefer to update it more than vox. Gold star for effort.
